The CAMWATER Douala Agglomeration Regional Directorate (DRDA) has issued an important press release regarding disruptions in the drinking water supply for several neighborhoods in Douala between February 9-13 February.
Due to power outages, the Japoma drinking water production plant has been forced to shut down since 4:45 AM on February 4, 2026. This unforeseen issue is expected to cause a significant drop in water pressure or even complete temporary interruptions across various neighborhoods in the city.
