President Paul Biya has removed Police Commissioner Michael Meh Kangha from his duties within the National Security services, according to a presidential decree signed on May 21, 2026.
The decree states that Meh Kangha, who served as Head of the Public Road Control Section at the Regional Unit of the Special Division for Service Control in the North, is relieved of his functions effective from the date of signature. The decision follows the opening of a disciplinary case against him.
The order directs the Minister of Finance and the Delegate General for National Security to implement the decree. It will be recorded, published under emergency procedure, and inserted in the Official Gazette in both French and English.
Meh Kangha was appointed to the role under Decree No. 0216/CAB/PR of March 18, 2021, which named officials in the central and external services of the Service Control Division.
