Francis Ngannou made a dominant return to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) on Sunday morning in Los Angeles, knocking out Brazilian veteran Philipe Lins with a first-round KO. After a two-year absence, the 39-year-old Cameroonian showed no signs of rust, using aggressive boxing and ground-and-pound to finish Lins with a devastating left hook.
The win marks Ngannou’s first MMA fight since October 2024 and comes after high-profile boxing bouts against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Following the fight, he confidently declared, “I’m the best. Period.”
The performance reaffirms Ngannou as a top heavyweight threat and has reignited speculation about the predators next challenge and potential title run.
